Janine Fischer is the strategic force behind The Nest Marketing & Communications, bringing over 20 years of agency and client-side experience. She’s led national programs for top Canadian B2B and B2C brands, redefined legacy narratives, and driven marketing strategies that resonate emotionally while delivering results.
Before founding The Nest, Janine held senior marketing roles directing cross-functional teams and large-scale campaigns that elevated brand equity. Janine helps clients define and amplify authentic brand voices across various channels. She believes that great marketing is rooted in human connection and seamlessly blends strategy and creativity to make this happen. Whether it’s evolving digital experiences, or shaping internal culture, Janine brings insight, instinct, and intention to the table.
Alex Fischer
Marketing Coordinator

Alex joined The Nest as a Marketing Operations Coordinator, bringing fresh energy and a keen eye for detail to the team. With a background in Game Programming and Development, Alex applies the same rigorous approach to managing timelines and optimizing workflows that he honed while coordinating game projects in school. Drawing from his experience collaborating with developers, artists, and designers, he effectively adapts these skills to streamline marketing operations and facilitate cross-functional teamwork.
